The Declaration
of Human Equality

We are in jeopardy of profound local and global conflict. This is our invitation to participate in co-creating a world beyond the current conflicts.

Understanding the reasons for the hostilities will not bring about their resolution. To alter that which divides us, we will need to co-create a yet larger challenge to unite us.

All analyses of the current state of warring come to at least two conclusions:

•  Continuing in the direction we are headed we will not end warring.

Nevertheless, ending-up where we are heading is not inevitable.

•   Individual, group and national behaviors and actions are influenced by a collective consciousness – that background of deep-rooted cultural influences transparently running our lives.

Nevertheless, all cultures are always in flux and can be intentionally shifted.

The conflict reaches directly into our daily lives. The way we discuss the conflict reflects our intransigence: the conflict is either “them-and-us” or “us-and-them”.

It is time for a sustainable cultural shift allowing for new opportunities and choices to emerge in our multi-cultural world. We begin: We the people commit to co-creating a re-newed consciousness of choice to end habitual patterns of viciousness, hopelessness, despair, self-righteousness, and warring that divides and conquers us.

Culture is always in flux. We intend to intentionally spark the progression from individual declaration to a sustainable global cultural shift.

What we propose is not “pro-this” or “anti-that.”  Our movement toward the cultural shift is not in support of or against any religion, faith, nationality, political party, or social, community or activist issues.

We are not designing an organization.  Instead, we are sparking a movement to break through the critical threshold toward a sustainable cultural shift.

This shift will alter the direction in which we are heading. The sustainable cultural shift we seek and personally declare is:

Every life is of equal value, with equal potential for all men and women to re-access their own dignity, respect and opportunity and through that shift to re-create new possibilities and choices for themselves.

Equal potential to create re-newed possibilities and choices for all men and women will change the world.

For men and women individually and together – the intention is to shift the “them-and-us” paradigm of the sexes and co-create together new possibilities and choices.

To co-create a shift in our world, we commit to create re-newed possibilities for men and women with no other agenda, no accusations, no religious or spiritual demands, no political or national positioning.

As long as men and women remain unequal in their choices and opportunities, what persists is the experience of conflict at its core level, and this is exemplified in all aspects of our humanity – from the home to the nation, personal belief to religious doctrine. Instead, let us alter the course of humanity and live to enjoy it. By starting a movement for equality, we are co-creating a bigger challenge than the warring which now confronts us. Encompassing equality will bring us closer to peace.

Starting a movement to alter our culture begins by going beyond conventional wisdom and understanding.

As our movement grows, it will attract resources, diversity, and most importantly, a life of its own. For some, the reality of equal access to dignity, respect and opportunity has already become a reality. It is not merely something to own; it is something to share.
