The Center for Social-Profit Leadership
Supporting the Business Needs of Social Entrepreneurs
Social Entrepreneurs – providing innovative solutions to pressing social problems using free-market principles
The Center for Social-Profit Leadership is dedicated to serving and supporting the leadership requirements of innovative social entrepreneurs by providing access to the highest quality faculty composed of business, leadership and social entrepreneurial professionals.
How We Do What We Do
Through conferences, quarterly seminars, leadership training and consulting, and through media avenues like books and the radio program, At Work in the Community, the Center for Social–Profit Leadership will provide the requisite support systems for an expanding and essential group of entrepreneurs -- those dedicated to addressing pressing social issues through the use of free-market principles. Working in concert with corporate and foundation contributors, the Center for Social-Profit Leadership will assist those Social Entrepreneurs identified by their sponsors, providing them the tools necessary to help assure their success, in most cases, without cost to the Social Entrepreneur. Through its alliances, networks, and contacts, The Center will supply its clients with an unprecedented base of support because the people who have founded the Center have also operated in the Social Entrepreneurial world. Knowing how to help Social Entrepreneurs accomplish their goals and address their needs is a service that will greatly benefit the disadvantaged communities and societies these social entrepreneurs wish to serve.

Life Options Training Center – Palm Springs
To leverage the transfer potential of our strategy, Legacy XXI is developing the Life Options Training Institute in Palm Springs, CA (LOTI-PS) as a gateway and testbed for an evolving, volunteer-driven, results-oriented, social entrepreneurial initiative to unleash new approaches to social services. The educational and training programs will be based on the success of the Legacy XXI Institute’s sustainable cultural shift initiatives for refocusing social services from co-dependency to a co-creative model. LOTI-PS will be a national training and resource center for demonstrating rewarding, new and cost-effective approaches to reduce the number of people suffering from social challenges. The center will train volunteers to shift at-risk cultures so that they can maintain an on-going possibility for re-newed choices and opportunities. In so doing, the center’s programs will empower volunteers to fulfill their vision and mission.
LOTI-PS targets vigorous, skilled volunteers. As the baby-boomer generation makes its transition from the commercial marketplace to volunteerism, two significant needs arise: the need for refocusing a lifetime of experience into leadership projects which can and will make a difference in the community; and, creating and implementing training and organizational structure for maximizing a new generation of volunteers’ skills, abilities, and commitments.
The implementation of cultural-shift initiatives will be needed locally, regionally, and nationally. LOTI-PS will be the hub for on-going training and education initiatives focused on shifting systemic community social issues through cultural change.
