ELEANOR MICHAEL

Eleanor Michael has varied experiences as a feature writer for print and radio, a guest speaker on religious and cultural issues, and an author completing a current book project. Additionally, she has international business experience and is fluent in French, German, Hebrew, and English.

Additionally, Ms. Michael works with Jacobs & Company/Public Affairs, a firm specializing in Government Affairs. One of the firm’s clients has been recognized for having the most successful lobbying effort over the past five years. Prior to joining Jacobs & Company in 1989, she served as a project manager for Operation Independence, a U.S. organization commissioned to promote trade with Israel, to increase Israeli exports, and to expand tourism to Israel. She was instrumental in the design and implementation of the organization's mission and its accomplishments.

Her professional background includes managing an import-export firm, serving as program director for a San Francisco radio station, public relations manager for the Weizman Institute (Israel), business development manager for Bank Leumi, and political fundraising for various state and local campaigns.

Ms. Michael attended the Sorbonne University, Paris, and the International School of Interpreters in Geneva, graduated from University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science degree and was awarded an MBA in International Business from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.

Ms. Michael is married to Stephen Jacobs.
